Here is my air box lid that I made all nice and smooth. There is plexi glass under the masking tape it still needs to be painted you get the idea.

These are pics on the accident i was in november 2008 the truck was a 200 chev silverado 2500 ext cab long box 4x4 twas my dads we were going hunting and at approx 6am we hit black ice and the truck did a 180 going down the highway at 95km/hr we went into the deep ditch and went end over end twice and side to side 3 times and hit a telephone pole. my dad was driving, i was in the font passenger and our hunting buddy was in the back  seat, he didnt fair so well me and my dad walked out with minor injuries he was in critical broke two disk in his neck two in his lower back broke a shoulder blad all his ribs except 2 had a collapse lung and broke his ankle. he had to get surgery on his neck twice, he so lucky he can walk... he was wearing his seat belt when we left but took it off when we were about 1 hr into the drive cause he wanted to get his jacket off, we got in the accident 1hr and 10mins into the drive.... very very unlucky... my dad is a contractor roofer so he had a canopy on the box and had a heavy duty lader rack on top aswell their didnt survive...

Decided to put my amber covers over my fogs...haven't driven with them at night or in the fog yet so no word on how it is.
