~~~~~~~~~~~~~WARNING NOOB CONTENT ;D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rake usually refers to the rear of the vehicle being higher then the front, kinda like a hot rod.
My Step dads 73 mach 1 for example
4X4's usually want to obe level front to back, if you did a tb crank with out doing any thing to the rear you ( assuming the truck sat level to begin with) then it would have more of a prerunner look like this
so if you crank them to much you will lift the front of the truck too much... ;D
Hey r0adki1l - do you live where that Mach 1 is parked?  If so, you're only a mile from me!...
I also would like to lift my colly. The "SAFETEST" and cheapest way of doing so if some one could give me a link to a AAL or shackles or TB crank. speaking of TB cranks does this do any wear or tear on the vehicle?
check out www.canuckmotorsports.com  for shackles. you shouldnt need torsion bar keys unless they are sagged. I got 3" of lift out of my stock torsion bar keys :D I had to lengthen the shackles I bought from canuck motorsports tho cause the most they give you is 2"
so, you can lift your truck 2" with just shackles and a TB crank (then an alignment) it will change your CV angle and upper BJ angle but you can remedy that by doing the upper BJ flip and a front diff drop, but on 2 inchs lift its not do or die.
